Worship Service Times and Directions

 Worship Service Times

 Sundays: 9:30 & 11:00am

Wednesdays: 6:15pm

Encounter Worship: 6:30pm the first Sunday of each month

Welcome, Visitors!

Our Sunday morning worship services, at 9:30am and 11:00am, are a blend of traditional and contemporary experiences utilizing great hymns and choruses, choir, solos, ensembles, drama, and orchestra. Our pastor preaches a relevant, biblical message at each service, always with a clear call to follow Jesus as Lord. The morning services are identical.

First Baptist's Deaf Congregation holds worship service at 11:00am each Sunday. On the first Sunday of each month, FBDC joins with the whole church as part of an interpreted service in the Sanctuary. All other Sundays, FBDC gathers in the Chapel.

Youth Worship is held most Sundays at 6:15pm in our Youth Garage.

Mid-Week Prayer and Worship is held on Wednesday evenings at 6:15pm. Adults are invited for a 45‑minute prayer time and message from our Pastor.  Service lasts about an hour, and is usually held in the Sanctuary. (Occasionally the location will be moved to the Chapel or the Faith Activities Center.)

Special services are frequently scheduled on Sunday evenings, such as concerts, children’s programs, and ordinations. These are announced in advance.

Encounter Worship is a monthly gathering, usually the first Sunday of each month, at 6:30pm in our Faith Activities Center. This is a more contemporary service, which includes light refreshments, a worship band, and a brief teaching directed towards nurturing the spirit of each individual. Throughout and following the worship service, time is dedicated for everyone to connect. A coffee bar and resource center are open for you to enjoy.

In addition, two unique services of worship occur during the year:
Maundy Thursday Communion and Tenebrae (Service of Darkness) is a poignant service to remember the suffering of Jesus. It is held at 7:30pm on the Thursday before Easter. This service is a moving time of worship led by our Pastor and Chancel Choir. Preschool childcare is available.)

On Christmas Eve, the church is filled to overflowing with worshippers at our annual Christmas Eve Candlelight and Communion Services. The 5:00pm and 6:30pm services are identical, and preschool childcare is available.
