Welcome to First Baptist Church of Alexandria’s
Weekday Preschool Ministry!
The purpose of First Baptist Weekday Preschool Ministry is to provide developmentally appropriate learning and social experiences in a Christ-centered environment. All of the classes use a Bible-based curriculum designed to provide an early childhood program that supports the individuality of each child.
| Our Program |
Children in the WPM program are exposed to a variety of activities to promote their social, emotional, spiritual, intellectual, and physical growth. Children have freedom within a structured framework to explore and learn. In addition to regular classroom activities, our school offers science, chapel and music/creative movement.
| Our Staff |
Great care is taken to select highly qualified teachers who are called to work with young children. Our staff is chosen for their commitment to living a Godly life, training, teaching experience, commitment to continued learning, love and sensitivity to the needs of each individual child. Our teachers have combinations of education degrees and extensive experience working with preschool-aged children.
| Our Facility |
Much consideration has been taken to provide our students with an environment that stimulates learning. Classrooms are designed so that children have numerous choices within an environment of maximum learning opportunities. Classes have a variety of learning centers. Our school also offers an indoor playroom.
Tours are given by appointment on Thursdays at 10:30am.

WPM Office Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00am to 2:30pm until June 13th. After June 13th office days and hours will vary, please e-mail or call for availability of office staff.
The office is located on the first floor hallway in Room 120.

If you would like an application for the 2013-14 school year, you may download a PDF of the application by clicking HERE, or you may request an application be mailed to you by emailing your name, mailing address, and phone number to eileen@fbcalexandria.org. Initial Registration ends on February 5th. Applications received after February 5th will be placed on a wait list.
