Tubing on the South Fork of the Shenandoah River:  There are two sections used, based on river water levels.  The tubing and rafting course is chosen by River Outfitters.

# 8 Bealer’s to #11 Foster’s:  Three miles, takes around 3 - 4 hours depending on water levels, nice riffles, great scenery.  This section is used when the water is normal or high, a nice float with great views.

#16 Seakfords to #19:  This section is used at lower water levels, deeper, slower water. Takes 4 - 5 hours, good swimming hole &  beach at Compton’s.

The cost for tubing is $15 and space is limited. FBCA will provide lunch, River Outfitters will supply the floating coolers.  Once out of the water, we'll walk around Luray and have dinner at one of their outdoor restaurants before heading back to Alexandria.
