Prayers for FBCA

First Family,

I hope your week is going well. Here are a few things I'm praying for our church. Please join me:

  • A prayer of gratitude for the amazing response we received after calling for volunteers for our Children's Ministry. Thank you, Lord, for the 14 individuals who stepped forward to provide additional support in nurturing and guiding our children's spiritual growth.
  • A prayer of petition for our search teams. Both our Worship and Student ministry search teams are in place and working. I ask for wisdom for these teams and a spirit of discernment as they process and shepherd our church toward calling new staff members. I pray that God prepares the hearts of future staff and readies our congregation to receive their leadership.
  • A prayer of intercession for Israel, Palestine, Ukraine, and Russia. These are such complex concerns, and many are physically harmed by these wars. Praying for peace, praying for the protection of innocent people, praying for justice, and praying that Christ would be made known.
  • As a church, we have prayed specifically for 2,858 homes in our community. Our prayer is that the message of Jesus Christ would spread throughout our community and that the Holy Spirit would touch the lives of families, bringing about their eternal salvation.
  • I am praying for a move of God’s people. God has already done His part. It’s up to us to take this good news to the world. God loves us. God is for us. God is faithful even when we fall short.

Glory to God in the highest and, on earth, peace, good will toward man.

Servant for His Glory,
Pastor Robert
